Reminiscence - My Early Childhood Days


i remember.....

i attended Barker Road Methodist Church Kindergarden.
yupps.
i wasnt a christian or a catholic or whatever..
and i havent stepped foot in a church since then.
but yeah, i kinda liked that school.

it was cool, with class names like
goofy
snoopy
garfield.
yah, you know.
well, i remember garfield was on the second floor.
have to climb this flight of stairs.
i was there for one year only lah.
K1 i think.
nursery and K2 was spent in snoopy.
i remember goofy cos it was near the playground.
like, most of the classrooms were up that staircase,
but goofy was down that staircase.
it was THAT cool.

i remember...
the painting sessions with my classmates outside the classroom.
for each time,
we really had an easel and paint pots.
and we wore cute pink aprons. =)

it was fun,
sleeping on the floor, on our towels.
i remember mine was hello kitty.
my bag was hello kitty.
i think my hand towel was hello kitty too.
hahaha. i was hello kitty crazy then.

i remember...
we used to go to the toilet together.
like, line up two by two,
hold hands and walk to the toilet.
then, we each had a hand towel to wipe our wet hands.
i always forgot mine,
so i kept using my friend's.
hah.

i remember...
i kept kaciao-ing my friend during sleep time.
cos i couldnt sleep,
then i kept talking to her.
hahaha.
it was really really funny.

i remember...
this girl called Amy.
she had really long hair, and she tied it up everyday with beads.
it looked so cool !
and she told me cannot eat apple skins,
cos it wasnt good for health.
haha.

i remember...
the playground !
that huge sand pit,
those metal cans where we could stand and walk on..
the water area... the shark toys, splashing water at each other, wearing that water apron.
finishing our work quickly and racing to the playground...

and that end of the year school concert !
we practiced hard okay.
and it was cute.
hahaha.

oh, those were the days,
the times when we had not a care in the world.
where all that existed was play and laughter.
learning was fun then (it still is now...)
and life was easy and troublefree.

i guess all that changes as we go up yeah?
oh well, no matter how much we detest change...
its all part and parcel of life.

i did 4 pieces of research in 4+ hours..
hahaha.
average one hour one page.
hahaha.
kinda happy leh... cos then now i got more research.
but still got assembly drawing, final design, isometric, and oh yes.
INITIAL IDEAS.
frankly, i dont have any ideas initially.
neither do i have any ideas now...
but thats not the point.

I'LL COOK UP SOMETHING.

studied with eunice at cp today.
hahaha.
i was doing dnt, and she was doing chem.
she's weird.
she can suddenly just look up and stare and me.
hahaha.
she was THAT bored can..
hahaha.

and only when we were leaving then she realised i didnt bring a bag !
and that is like...
5 hours after i met her ?
yes, she is THAT slow.
haha.

okay, i told eunice i wont tell yanling this...
but i didnt tell her !
