Age is all but a number.

Funny how 19 seems so young, and 20 sounds so much older.
i always thought 20 years old was for other people - i never imagined i myself would reach 20. i wonder why. i guess i must have either been retarded, or thought i would die early.

Funny how small kids always yearn to be 16, 18, 21.
WHY?
what's so good about being 21 ? the freedom ? to make your own decisions ? to go wherever you like ?

i hate growing up, not just because of the number, but because of the huge responsibilities and decisions that come with it.
its at this age where everything seems so uncertain and all - which is the right decision to make at this point of time, and how will it affect us ? is there even a right or wrong decision to begin with ?
its like everything i've done or gone through for the past 19 years of my life has accumulated to this one point, and this single decision that i make is going to affect what's going to happen in the next chapter of my life. well, for the next 5 - 10 years at least.

more than 6 months ago, i made a decision that i have now come to regret.
this time, i'm faced with yet another huge decision - and there is absolutely no room for regrets anymore.
no more "what if's", and "if only's". i'm actually rather sick of that.
i really really hope that my decision this time round won't cause me to look back.

anyway, i got my results the other day.
i'm rather glad that i passed everything, though i kinda expected that. its just that... i actually expected more out of a few modules, and just simply passing it isn't enough.
gosh, the numbers i see on the results slip just make me feel so 不甘愿。

oh man, this entire post seems so depressing, so i should put something happy into it.
I GOT MY PAY.
at least talking to those aunties was rather worth it. HAHA.
