The worse part of it all is when you realise that after the plane lands, you'll be three hours ahead of your friends and family back home, and that you wont be able to see them for the next 6 months. Plus you couldnt sleep well because your limbs were being all restless and bones were busy being itchy that you had to fidget every 5 seconds. And when your bones finally decided to cooperate, it was time to get off the plane. In your sleep deprived state, you lug your luggage through customs and try not to fall asleep on the bus lest your luggage starts rolling all over the place. And then the rain comes when youre on the bus and there's this overall dreary mood, coupled with your annoying rolling luggage which wont stop rolling and it finally dawns upon your sleep deprived brain that YOU ARE BACK IN SYDNEY AND WONT BE HOME FOR THE NEXT SIX MONTHS.
this sian-ness is quite drastic, actually. Eva and I call it the 'Sydney Syndrome'. heh.
it actually alternated between rainy and sunny today, i wonder what's wrong. twice sunny, thrice rainy. make up your mind, sydney, make up your mind !
falling asleep already, but my luggage is half unpacked. okay wait, its just lying open. think i should do it tomorrow.
PS, Eva and I counted. its 183 days left in Sydney. in our opinions, that's an entire lifetime.
